Role Description
Building the Future of Event Experiences
We aren’t looking for someone to simply close Jira tickets. We are looking for a Product Engineer — someone capable of taking a raw idea and transforming it into a high-impact production feature.
As an AI Product Engineer, you will have "Full Ownership" of your features. You navigate seamlessly between backend architecture in Java/Spring Boot, agent orchestration via AWS Bedrock/AgentCore, and the nuances of User Experience (UX). You understand that code is simply a vehicle for delivering value, and you leverage AI to code smarter.
Since we move fast, we take full advantage of AI-assisted programming tools (primarily Claude-Code) and practice responsible "vibe coding." We want someone open to experimenting with new approaches, passionate about all things AI, and motivated to push the boundaries of traditional software development.
Responsibilities
- Backend & AI Development: Design and develop microservices using Java 17+ / Spring Boot, integrating Generative AI capabilities via AWS Bedrock and AWS AgentCore.
- Agent Ecosystem: Implement and expose tools via the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to enable our AI agents to interact intelligently with our internal services and databases.
- Data Architecture: Model high-performance schemas in PostgreSQL (structured/relational data) and MongoDB (document data/events).
- Observability & Reliability: Maintain critical monitoring of services and AI model consumption using Datadog (APM, Logs, Traces).
- Cloud Orchestration: Deploy scalable architectures on AWS (ECS, Lambda, SQS, MSK) using an Infrastructure-as-Code approach.
- AI Innovation: Actively participate in the research and deployment of agentic workflows (RAG, chain-of-thought, autonomous agents).
Technical Stack
- Backend: Java 17+, Spring Boot.
- Artificial Intelligence: AWS Bedrock, AgentCore, MCP.
- Data: PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- Observability & CI/CD: Datadog, GitLab.
- Methodology: AI-assisted development (Claude-Code), Responsible Vibe Coding.
Our Ideal Candidate Profile: "The Builder"
- Radical Autonomy: You have a track record of delivering major products or features from A to Z. You know when to make an executive decision and when to seek feedback.
- Java & Data Mastery: You are a Java expert capable of modeling robust databases without hand-holding.
- Product Mindset: You care about the "why" as much as the "how." You have a critical eye for UX and the ergonomics of the tools you build.
- Technical Curiosity: You are fascinated by the MCP protocol and agentic AI. You are constantly experimenting with new models and tools.
- Proficiency or interest in React and Next.js: while the role is backend-focused, your ability to touch the frontend and your eye for UI/UX are major assets for delivering end-to-end products.
Languages: Proficiency in French (oral and written) is required; English is a strong asset.
